Rooms & Design

Vestlia Resort Geilo was designed by Norwegian architect Helene Hennie, known for her lodge-style interiors. Guest rooms include spacious family suites with kitchenettes, living areas, and balconies overlooking the mountains. The penthouse Geilo suite offers four bedrooms, each with private bathroom, terraces on three sides, and panoramic views of the ski area.

Dining

The in-house restaurant serves seasonal Norwegian, Italian, and French cuisine with a set dinner menu and an à la carte option. Breakfast is a large buffet with hot and cold choices, including fresh pancakes and local specialties. Special dietary accommodations are made easily available, and guests can order wine pairings or choose from the bar's selection of wines and champagne.

Activities & Recreation

Guests have direct access to Geilolia Ski Resort from the hotel's ski store, with ski equipment hire on site and a ski school just 50 meters away. Indoor facilities include a six-lane bowling alley, a swimming pool with a waterslide and jacuzzi, and a cinema for younger children. In summer, the hotel's own 9-hole golf course is open, and the nearby Geilo Sommerpark offers rafting and hiking trails into Hallingskarvet National Park.

Wellness & Spa

The spa & wellness centre provides body treatments, facial treatments, massage, and access to a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Guests can book fitness classes such as yoga, or use the fully equipped fitness centre with modern machines. The spa lounge/relaxation area and the indoor swimming pool with a shallow end offer calm spaces separate from the main family pool.

Family & Pet-Friendly

The resort has an indoor play area, board games, and a separate kids' pool with a waterslide to keep children entertained. Childcare options are available at the ski slopes through the TrollKlubben, and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to Geilo town and other lifts.
